Here are some breakdowns of the Samurai Helmet that was done.

Noticed at certain times,instead of sculpting details out from Zbrush, One can actually do it using details created in Diffuse Maps for Displacement Maps in Photoshop.

Its because some details can be created much faster in Photoshop. And you can preview the result immediately in your one frame Rendering progress instantly.

Below are a few Breakdown shots for the Samurai Helmet. Starting with the Final Render,Wireframe,Displacement,Diffuse and Specular.

Mentioned previously about the Warped effect in Displacement, is that the Warped creates an uneven look on the surface shown above in the Displacement Breakdown Image.

Will be putting up a Reel on Samurai Helmet soon and moving on to the next project…Till then =)
